TO OUR FIGHTING MEN AND WOMEN
 The
terror visited upon these United States when we were so ruthlessly
attacked on September 11th, 2001 marked the beginning of a new
role for both America and our peacekeepers in the military forces
of this, the world’s greatest superpower. In the international
conflicts of the past, the citizens of this nation remained isolated
and beyond the reach of our enemies. The destruction of the World
Trade Center and the attack on the Pentagon has made it clear
that along with this new century we are encountering a new form
of waging battle – one unlike any we’ve seen before.
The task of preserving and
defending the freedom of all Americans continues to fall to the
brave men and women of America’s combined armed forces regardless
of the new multiple threats we encounter. In these most challenging
times, when the concepts of liberty and justice are embodied by
the sacrifices and commitment of this nation’s finest –
we here at Debt Options acknowledge the unprecedented debt that
we as a free people can never truly repay to those few who risk
all for the many.
